We congratulate our client Mr Veremis on his recent successful application for a rent repayment order (RRO) against his previous landlord Ms Razia Salique for her breach of the ‘specified offence’ of control and management of an unlicensed house under section 95(1) of the Housing Act 2004. In December this year, the Tribunal ordered a RRO in favour of client, where Ms Salique is required to pay all the rent paid by our client over the period of his occupation at the property plus the payment of his tribunal fees, totalling £5,100.
